Builds & Party Tips

The essentials for Baldur's Gate 3.

Party skeleton

One frontliner (Fighter/Paladin), one healer/support (Cleric/Light Domain), one control mage (Wizard), one flex (Rogue/Ranger). Respec anyone at Withers anytime.

OP early builds

Lightning/Thunder Sorcerer (create water → call lightning), and a Tavern Brawler Monk (throw anything). Honor Mode rewards AoE and control over raw damage.

Combat tricks

High ground = +2 to hit. Use Grease/Web/Knockback. Long Rest often — you only get so many "per day" spells, and the game is balanced around resting.
