Story & Online Tips
The essentials for Red Dead Redemption 2.
Story pacing
Do stranger missions and camp upgrades (Pearson, Dutch’s tent) early — they unlock fast travel and satchels. The Legend of the East satchel (all upgrades) is a top priority.
Money
Hunt perfect pelts (use the right weapon: varmint rifle for small, rifle for large) and sell to the trapper/general store. Treasure maps (from fence) pay well.
Online
Front-load the collector role (low effort, steady gold) and the trader role (sell goods). Avoid PvP-heavy lobbies early; play defensively until you have a strong horse and weapons.
