Rocket League is soccer with cars — but the skill ceiling is aerial. A structured training habit beats grinding ranked.

These are our editor’s practical, reproducible tips — no exploits, no external tools, just better play on a normal PC.

Ranks & Training

The essentials for Rocket League.

Training packs

Do "Aerial Aims" and "Ground Shots" daily. The Pillar and Rings maps (workshop) build the muscle memory for air play.

Rank reality

Bronze–Gold = consistency and rotation. Plat–Diamond = aerials and fast kickoffs. Champ+ = game sense and mechanical ceiling. Don’t skip freeplay.

Settings

Camera: height 100–110, distance 250–270, FOV 110, stiffness 0.4–0.6. Turn off camera shake. Bind air-roll left/right separately for faster aerial control.
