These are our editor’s practical, reproducible tips — no exploits, no external tools, just better play on a normal PC.
PvP & Voyages
The essentials for Sea of Thieves.
Voyage flow
Buy a voyage from a company (Gold Hoarders for chests, Merchant for deliveries, Order of Souls for skeletons). Anchor, sail, and keep an eye on the horizon — emissary flags boost payouts.
Ship combat
Angle your broadside, keep buckets ready for repair, and use the crow’s nest for spotting. Against a ghost ship, focus its lanterns; against players, board or sink per your crew size.
Safety
Sail with a filled supply crate and a spare plank. If outmatched, skeleton fort loot isn’t worth a sunk ship — dive and re-queue to a fresh server to escape gankers.
