Which packs first
If you want gameplay, Get Together (clubs) and Seasons are the highest-rated. For building, Dream Home Decorator and the Kit range add the most.
Stability rules
Mods multiply crashes. Keep Better Exceptions installed, update mods after every patch (Tuesdays), and never mix two script mods that edit the same system.
Build tricks
Use bb.moveobjects on, alt-drag to free-place, and the eyedropper to clone. Turn on "Move Objects" and "Resize" for tighter, realistic rooms.
