What Should You Do?

Use Quality mode when you are close to your target refresh and want minimal softness. Use Balanced as the default for a strong FPS boost with small quality loss. Use Performance only when you need the headroom (e.g., ray tracing on, or 4K high refresh). FSR helps on GPUs without DLSS, though it typically trails DLSS slightly in image clarity.
